Every Hour Counts

For the past five months, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant.  I am always sad when I say that it hasn’t happened and I am beginning to get skeptical if it will ever happen.  I know that five months isn’t a long time, but I never imagined it would take this long.

People keep saying “it’ll happen”, “don’t worry”, and “all in due time”. I realize that, but I also feel that I can’t just sit around and wait.  Time is unfortunately not on my side. I’ll be 4o next month and Rod will be 53 on Saturday.  According to the test results, his fertility is off the charts.  But, what about mine?

Part of what gets me so frustrated is the lack of consistency in medical advice these days. I go to two OBs and they both say that I am fine, but when I read on-line about my test results, there is a completely different story.

Furthermore, it takes so much money to pay for each of these opinions. I have the top insurance, but still only a portion is covered.

Thankfully, there are reliable things in this world like pregnancy tests.  I found these great ones that can see results a day or two earlier than other tests.  When you are on pins and needles, like I am, every hour counts.
