Getting A Second Opinion

I didn’t realize that most health insurance providers will pay for, and sometimes require, a second opinion. This is a great thing if we’re getting a piece of bad news, like in this article from the LA Times, or if we just don’t 100% agree with our doctor’s recommendation.

I’ve heard of so many mothers-to-be who don’t love their OB, but are afraid to offend him/her by going to someone else. It doesn’t hurt and it’s encouraged!

I just learned today that second opinions are most often included in insurance #latimes #prenatal #wellbeing #yoga
