we need something to get us out the door. Last week, I taught yoga to Alzheimer’s patients and they were reluctant to join me. They were watching tv, sleeping, and not interested in my breathing techniques, stretching, or twisting. Once I put on some music and got them moving, they didn’t want me to leave. It makes me realize that once we start moving, it’s easier to keep going.
This morning, I’m putting on some good music using my bluetooth connector, grabbing my favorite workout partner (my dog), and am going to start moving. Once we’re moving, it’s much harder to stop and we feel so much better after!
